One of the four playable characters in Left 4 Dead 2 FPS game is Nick or, Nicholas, as this is his real name. Nick is a very interesting and easy to hate, at least at the beginning, character with lot of shady past on his back. Simply, he just can’t stand the situation that he needs to be the part of a group. You can tell that easily just by listening his complaints on almost every idea that anyone in a group is suggesting. Con artist and a gambler with violent past, Nick is taking the role of “the complainer” in his group of a survivors.
Dressed in a white suit, which has seen a better days, and blue button-down shirt with a couple of golden rings on his fingers you can tell that Nick is a Ladies man. Traces of lipstick on his collar and a love byte on his neck, (hickey), just confirming that statement. One of the rings he wears have a gangster symbol embossed, which can tell that Nick once was a part of a gang. He also claims that the suite he is wearing cost him 10 000 $.
During the game, through the conversation with the rest of survivors you will find out that Nick was married and not just once. Tough life of a gambler, playing back-alley card games, trying to stay out of the jail and constant running from the Police, learned Nick a couple of life lessons: Don’t trust anyone and always look out for No.1.
Nick ended up in Savannah looking for a big card game on the riverboat casino, but instead of a card game he run in to a city flooded with infected ones. Not given a much of a choice, Nick is forced to accept the group as his only way to stay alive in this mess. Left 4 Dead 2 Character #4: Ellis
The youngest playable survivor in the Left 4 Dead 2 series is Ellis, also called El. Born and raised in Savannah, working at the auto shop trade, as a junior mechanic, Ellis is a kind of a guy who always want to impress his buddies. This simple and young country guy who likes beer and music will find this situation kind of a funny, with many opportunities to prove himself in front of his friends. Like many young people, Ellis thinks that he is indestructible and he will take risk in any situation that will stand in front of him.
Foolish and naive way of viewing on the infected world will often distract him from his main task. Far-fetched stories about his friend Keith and dreams about marrying Zoey and taking her to the cross country road trip, make Ellis a really funny and likable character in a group of four survivors. If coach can be considered as a “Father” figure in the group of four, Ellis can be easily described as a “little brother” figure. Always ready to help, he treat everybody in a group as a best friend.
“Folks call me Ellis. I run an auto shop with a couple of my buddies. We’re also in a band. I play bass.”
“Kill all sons of bitches. That’s my official instructions.”
You can tell from these two Ellis quotes that he is young funny and likable character in any way. His rants became so popular that there is a whole bunch of videos on You Tube about him and his interactions with other survivors.
Ellis wears a T-shirt with “Bullshifters” logo and a white and blue colored baseball cap featuring a tow truck patch.
