Just another left 4 dead 2 game play walkthrough from the campaign No Mercy. No Mercy is the first campaign in the Left 4 Dead and has 5 levels. If you read the tagline for the campaign “Curing the Infection… One bullet at a time” everything becomes clear. Campaign starts right after The Sacrifice.
The first level continues where the game’s introduction cut scene leaves off. The 4 Survivors must make their way to Mercy Hospital when they hear rescue helicopter from a passing to be be evacuated. On their path to safety they passing through subway tunnels, city streets, sewer and Infected filled apartment buildings. Very soon they realize that Mercy Hospital has been overrun and any chance for rescue is if they can breakthrough to the hospital and reach the helicopter landing pad on the roof.

The No Mercy campaign finds you on the rooftop of an obliterated apartment complex, deep in the heart of the once-thriving metropolis of Fairfield—now completely overrun with hordes of Infected. A voice from a bullhorn calls out from a rescue helicopter: Get to the roof of nearby Mercy Hospital and be airlifted to safety. Even if it means shooting your way through narrow alleys, open sewers and seething waves of zombies to get there.

“The Sacrifice” is the prequel to “The Passing,” and takes place from the L4D Survivors’ perspective as they make their way South.
